How it works
- Hold the microphone button and say what you spent: "Coffee four fifty, lunch with the team thirty-five."
- Expenny transcribes it, splits it into items and gives each one a category.
- The expense appears in your list a few seconds later, ready to edit if anything needs changing. That speed is what makes the habit stick.
Typing works the same way
If you would rather not talk — on a train, in a meeting — type the same thing as one line of text. Quantities, amounts, dates like "yesterday" and several items in a row are understood.
Edit by describing the change
Open any expense and say or type the correction: "change the quantity to 2", "add something else for 50". The AI applies it, so you never tap through fields.
Categories that understand your words
Give each category a short description and the AI uses it, so shop names and nicknames — "Rewe", "the corner shop" — land where you expect.
